Find out what happened when Dons hosted a PL Girls football tournament for six London clubs

Every week, the AFC Wimbledon Foundation gives more than 150 women and girls the chance to play football through their Premier League Girls programme.

As part of FA Girls' Football Week, the Dons hosted a special tournament at Tooting & Mitcham FC that brought together Year 9 and 10 footballers from six London clubs, and Sky Sports News went along to find out more.

"These girls don't have the chance to play in tournaments like this as there's a lot of focus on younger age groups," said Foundation inclusion officer Emma O'Connor.

"This is the one opportunity of the year where they get to play with other girls, the same age across the whole of London."

The PL Girls Football programme is delivered by 88 Premier League and Football League clubs, and since it began in September 2013 more than 51,000 people have taken part.
